Rules

These are the table rules for running a quick kid-friendly game.

1. Setup

  • Pick or create a dungeon, then choose the party characters.
  • Give each player a character sheet and a d20(twenty sided dice).

2. Turn Flow

  • Start combat with initiative: everyone rolls d20.
  • The players that rolled higher than the monsters goes first, then the monsters, then everyone, and so on.

3. On your turn

  • On your turn you can move, then attack, use a skill, or cast a spell.
  • Attack: roll the d20 and add your bonus. If this is greater than or equal to the target's armor class, you hit and roll for damage.
  • Skill: roll the d20 and add your bonus. If this is greater than or equal to the difficulty of the task, you succeed.
  • Spells: Can be used once per day and have profound magical effects. Use wisely.

4. Conclusion

  • The dungeons have around 4 events that take about 10 minutes each to run.
  • Once the dungeon is completed all players will level.
  • Players should have a chance to go into town and spend there gold regularly.
